We have opened a research fellowship titled: Design and Implementation of VR Applications based on Biofeedback
Within the framework of the PRIN22 "BRAVE" project – (100023-2023-MC-PRIN_Bando2022)

Application Information: Prof. Manuela Chessa (manuela.chessa@unige.it)
Description: The research fellowship aims to develop biofeedback-VR scenarios within the PRIN "BRAVE" project. A Virtual Environment (VE) will be based on non-interactive scenarios, necessary for identifying the model of subjective anxiety. The VEs will be created using freely available models and assets or developed ad hoc with photogrammetry techniques. Another VE will integrate biofeedback-based modulation developed in the project. A final exergame will be created, allowing the user to experience scenarios from less anxiety-inducing (subliminal) to more frightening (interactive, with stimuli provoking fear). A graphical interface will continuously provide feedback to the subject on changes occurring in the scene, seeking confirmation.
